Purpose

The online MCQs exam is held to help in selecting postgraduates for the various travelling fellowships of the USI, viz:

The purpose of the BOE online written exam is to assess whether the candidate demonstrates the level of knowledge required to be selected for the various travelling fellowships of the Urology Society of India.

Venue

The examination is to be taken at one of the secured test centres, as listed in the attachment.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate should be either a second year or final year resident of a recognized teaching Institution for M Ch. or DNB Urology. The year of residency is according to the calendar year.
2. Residents should not have appeared for their final exam, at the time of availing the travelling fellowships.
3. Applicant must be associate member of USI at the time of application (on 31st October 2016). Those who apply for the membership now are not eligible.
4. Those who wish to avail AUA travelling fellowship – should be a member of AUA & should have obtained AUA ID before 31st October 2016 or proof of payment of fees. Only “applied” status is not enough. They will be considered as non-members & automatically will not be considered for AUA travelling fellowship. However they will be eligible for other fellowships.
5. Candidates should have a passport with validity till March 2018.

Clarifications:

1) DNB students who are now in 2nd year – are eligible for all fellowships as next year they will be in 3rd year & will not finish the exam till Dec 2017.
2) MCh students who are in 3rd year & are appearing for exam in July/Aug 2017 – are eligible only for AUA & BAUS travelling fellowships. While those now in 2nd year & will appear for exam in July 2018 – are eligible for Singapore, EUREP & NAUS fellowships.
3) MCh students who appearing for their exam in Dec 2017 – are eligible for all fellowships.
4) A student can avail international travelling fellowship only once. For example – 2nd year MCh students gets & accepts fellowship – EUREP, NAUS or Singapore, then he is not eligible to appear for AUA or BAUS next year.
